The weather here has been so nice!

The boys have gotten a lot of time at the park this last week. It is still cold, but the sun has been out and the sky has been dry! Here are some pictures of the boys!

Alex is ok!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Alex and I got home from the hospital at 1 AM last night. He's ok. Once they gave him some anti-nausea medication, he started drinking some fluids. So they didn't poke him with an IV! The doctor said he could possibly do that to be on the safe side, but Alex gave him such a big smile he just felt bad about it. Hehe...Thats my boy!

I think the key is just keeping the fever down and keeping the nausea at bay so that he won't refuse fluids. If he starts pulling that again for more than 8 hours, than back we go. But I think he'll handle the fluids. Tough little guy, that Alex!

Starting to re-think flu shots here!

Hi everyone! To anyone (parents and siblings especially) who usually hear from me regularly or depend on me to do things like check the mail or the like:

Sorry I've been missing for the week! I went to the doctor today and I have Influenza type B. As I was walking out, I noticed a sign. It said "Flu Shots, $20". Had I not felt so crappy, I probably would have kicked myself!

The boys seem to be doing ok. Although Dusty is exhausted after playing Mr. Mom AND Mr. Provider for a week!

I should be done with this by the end of the weekend. So I'll get some pictures of the boys up, and return phone calls and check blogs soon!

Have a good weekend everyone!

GO GIANTS!

Sky is mad, but Dusty and I are happy! Alex is just stoked that he got M&Ms, and really could care less about the football.

Alex peed in the potty!

Yay! We made it into the toilet!

For a couple weeks, Alex has been telling us whenever he is peeing in his diaper. So we rush him to the bathroom and sit him on the pot so that he gets the idea. By this time, the diaper is always full and the bladder is always empty, so it is more of a tradition.

BUT today, Alex went to the gate blocking the bathroom, pulled his pants down and made the sign for "diaper" (his universal potty sign). I picked him up, rushed him to the toilet, and....what was that sound? OH MY GOODNESS! He did it! He made it into the toilet!

Yay Alex!
